OF THE SCRIPTURES: We believe that the Holy Bible as originally written was verbally inspired and the product of Spirit-Controlled men and therefore is truth without any admixture of error for its matter and is a perfect treasure of Heavenly instruction; that it has God for its Author and salvation for its end; that it reveals the principles by which God will judge us; and therefore is, and shall remain to the end of the world, the true center of Christian union, and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds and opinions should be tried. (2 Tim 3:15-17; Prov 30:5-6; Mark 16:15-16; Rom 2:12; 1 Cor 4:3-4; Phil 3:16; 1 Pet 4:11) 2. OF THE TRUE GOD We believe that there is one, and only one, living and true God; an infinite, intelligent Spirit, whose name is Jehovah, the Maker and Supreme Ruler of heaven and earth; inexpressibly glorious in Holiness, and worthy of all possible honor, confidence, and love; that in the unity of the God-Head there are three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; equal in every divine perfection, and executing distinct but harmonious offices in the great work of redemption; the Father is of none, neither begotten nor proceeding, the Son is eternally begotten of the Father, the Holy Spirit proceeding from the Father and the Son; therefore but one God, who is not to be divided in nature and being, but distinguished by several peculiar relative properties, and personal relations; which doctrine of the Trinity is the foundation of all our communion with God, and comfortable dependence on Him. (Ps 147:5; Ps 83:18; Ex 15:11; Mark 12:30; Rev 4:11; Matt 28:19; Acts 5:3-4; 2 Cor 13:14; Eph 2:18; John 10:30; 1 Cor 12:4-6; John 15:26) a. We believe that the Father is God; a perfect, merciful, holy and righteous being; that He sent the Son to earth; that He delivers all things to the Son including the lost sheep of the human race; that He draws these unto Christ; that He answers prayer, and commits all judgment to the Son. (John 17:1-3; Matt 5:48; Luke 6:36; John 17:11; John 5:30, 36-37; John 20:21; 1 John 4:14; Matt 11:27; John 3:35; Lohn 6:37, 44; John 10:29; Matt 6:6; John 5:22) b. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is God the Son; that He was before all things, and creator of all things; that being born of a virgin, without a human father, He did take on Himself man's nature, was made in the likeness of man, and in fashion as a man, yet without sin; that He being very God, and very man, yet one Christ; that He was crucified for sinners, was buried, and arose the third day according to the Scriptures, thereby purchasing an everlasting inheritance in the Kingdom of Heaven for all those whom the Father hath given unto Him; that He is the only mediator between God and men; that He is head of His church and the judge of the world. (Heb 1:8; Col 1:16-17; Rom 8:3; Rom 9:5; Heb 2:14, 16-17; Phil 2:7-8; Heb 4:15; Rom 5:8; 1 Cor 15:3-4; Heb 9:15; John 17:2; 1 Tim 2:5; Col 1:18; Acts 10:42) c. We believe that the Holy Spirit is a divine person; equal with God the Father and God the Son and of the same nature; that He was active in the creation; that in His relation to the unbelieving world He restrains the evil one until God's purpose is fulfilled; that He convicts of sin, righteousness and judgment; that He bears witness to the truth of the Gospel in preaching and testimony; that He is the agent in the new birth; that He seals, indwells, guides, teaches, witnesses, sanctifies, and helps the believer. (Matt 28:19; Luke 1:35; Acts 5:3-4; Heb 9:14; Gen 1:1-2; 2 Thess 2:7; John 16:8-11; Acts 5:30-32; Rom 8:14-16; Mark 1:8; John 1:33; Acts 11:16; Luke 24:49; John 14:16-17, 26; Rom 8:26-27; Eph 1:13-14) 3. OF THE DEVIL, OR SATAN: We believe in the personality of Satan, that he is the unholy god of this age, and the prince of all the powers of darkness, and is destined to the judgment of an eternal justice in the lake of fire. (Matt 4:1-3; 2 Cor 4:4; Eph 6:12; Rev 20:10) 4. OF THE CREATION: We accept the Genesis account of creation and believe that man came by direct creation of God. (John 1:3; Col 1:16-17) 5. OF THE FALL OF MAN: We believe that man was created in innocence under the law of his Maker, but by voluntary transgression fell from his sinless and happy state in consequence of which all mankind are now sinners by nature, not only by constraint, but of choice; and therefore are under just condemnation without defense or excuse. (Gen 3:1-6; Rom 1:18-32; Rom 5:10-19; Eph 2:3) 6. OF THE VIRGIN BIRTH: We believe that Jesus was begotten of the Holy Ghost in a miraculous manner; that He was born of Mary, a virgin, as no other man was ever born or can ever be born of woman, and that He is both the Son of God, and God the Son. (Gen 3:15; Is 7:14; Matt 1:18-25; Luke 1:35; John 1:14) 7. OF THE REDEMPTION FROM SIN: We believe that the only escape from the condemnation of sin is through the redemption wrought by Jesus Christ, when He voluntarily took upon Him a human body and nature, yet without sin, and by His suffering, death, and resurrection made full satisfaction to the justice of God for the sins of men; that to all those for whom Christ hath obtained eternal redemption, He doth certainly and effectually apply, and communicate the same, making intercession for them; uniting them to Himself by revealing His Spirit unto them, in and by the Word, the mystery of salvation. Persuading them to believe and obey; governing their hearts by His Word and Spirit; and the blessings of this salvation are given, all of grace, without any condition foreseen in them, who procure it by believing and receiving Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. (John 1:1-3, 14; John 6:37; John 10:15-16; John 17:9; Rom 5:10; Heb 10:4-14; John 3:1-7; John 17:6; Acts 16:30-33; Rom 8:9, 14; Eph 1:9; 1 John 5:20) 8. OF SALVATION BY GRACE: We believe that repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is the only condition of salvation from sin and this salvation is wholly by grace; that no works, however good, make that salvation more secure. This grace whereby the elect are enabled to believe to the saving of their souls, is the work of the Spirit of Christ in their hearts, and is wrought by the ministry of the Word. (Acts 16:31; Eph 2:8-9; Titus 3:5-7; Rom 10:9-10, 13-14, 17; 2 Cor 4:13) 9. OF PRESERVATION AND PERSEVERANCE: We believe that those whom God hath accepted in the Beloved, effectually called and sanctified by His Spirit, and given the precious faith of His elect unto, can neither totally nor finally fall from the state of grace but shall certainly persevere, seeing the gifts and callings of God are without repentance; Thus they shall be sure to be kept by the power of God unto salvation, they being engraven upon the palm of His hands, and their names having been written in the book of life from all eternity. We believe that such as truly believe in the Lord Jesus, and love Him, may in this life be certainly assured that they are in the state of grace. We further believe that believers manifest their assurance by good works, done in obedience to God's commandments; these good works being fruits and evidence of a true and lively faith; that by good works they edify their brethren, stop the mouths of adversaries, and glorify God, whose workmanship they are, created in Christ Jesus thereunto. (John 10:28-29; Phil 1:6; 2 Tim 2:19; 1 John 2:19; Rom 11:29; 1 Pet 1:5; Is 49:16; Rev 17:8; 2 Pet 1:5-11; 1 John 2:3, 5; 1 John 3:14, 18-19, 21, 24; James 2:18, 22; 1 Pet 2:15; Matt 5:16; Phil 1:11; Eph 2:10) 10. OF THE CHURCH: We believe that the first church was instituted by Christ before Pentecost and that a New Testament Church is a body, composed of immersed believers who have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit, and are associated by covenant of faith and fellowship of the Gospel; having the Bible as its only rule of faith and practice; having as its message, all of God's Word as revealed in the Bible; recognizing Christ as its only head; governed by His laws; observing His ordinances of Baptism and the Lord's Supper; exercising the gifts, rights and privileges invested in it by His Word; and, having as its scrptural officers, Pastor (Elder or Bishop) and Deacons whose qualifications, claims, and duties, are clearly defined in the Scriptures. We believe that the only scriptural commission of the church is to carry out the Lord's command to disciple the nations and to baptize and teach the disciples. We hold that the church has the absolute right of self government, free from the interference of any hierarchy of individuals or organizations; that on all matters of membership, polity, government, discipline, and benevolence the will of the church is final. We believe the universal or invisible church theory to be unscriptural. (Luke 6:13; 1 Cor 12:28; Acts 2:41-47; Acts 10:43; Acts 16:28-33; Col 1:18; Eph 5:23; 1 Cor 11:2; 1 Cor 11:18-34; Rom 6:4-5; John 11:22; John 14:23; Acts 13:1-4; Acts 6:2-3; Matt 28:18-20; Acts 1:15-26; Acts 15:22; 1 Cor 5:1-13; 2 Thess 3:6; Matt 18:17; Rom 16:17-20)

We had a great Sunday! The day ended with the Gajewski’s (Sonnie & Nan’s family) providing a concert for us - and wow, it was beautiful! We want to thank them for coming and blessing us! We also want to challenge those who were not there - don’t be a “Sunday Morning Christian”, you WILL miss out on blessing, and you WILL miss what the Holy Spirit has prepared for you to hear from His Word. This was our last day of skill stations! We approach our final day excited to celebrate a GREAT week together with all of the families – awards, ice cream, and one last soccer game! Sad to see it end, but thankful for the kids and parents we've gotten to know along the way.
Can we just brag a little on our wonderful GBC team, who stepped up and volunteered their time this week at High Power Soccer Camp to have even a small impact on these kids lives? Everyone’s busy... but you make time for things that are important to you or to others. You make time for serving. They did much more than teach them soccer, they taught campers the Gospel and lived it in front of them. We had a record-breaking successful year, and we’re excited to have the opportunity to use our property to reach our community like we did this week. #gbcfam #soccercamp #localchurch
D A Y O N E of High Power Soccer Camp blew us away! We had 22 kids who came and heard the gospel tonight, many who learned about Heaven for the first time. We had a blast with these kiddos and feel so blessed to have the opportunity to teach them about soccer and Jesus. The week's only begun! Invite your friends for the remaining 4 days! #gbcfam
